Q: What did you see?
A: What I saw was the TOC getting very angry when everyone was fooling around and not being serious whatsoever. I could tell that the TOC had a long day and was very exhausted from teaching that many P.E. classes but he still came in with enthusiam and throughout all of this he had a smile on his face.
Q: What do you think your classmates saw?
A: I think Priyanka saw the class going very downhill. She didnt seem to be enjoying this paticular P.E. class that much and she noticed the violence and profanities had gotten to a whole new level but i'll be honest nobody included did anything about the curing or vile language. This P.E. class was pretty brutal. I dont blame the TOC if he never wanted to come back here again.
Q:What did the TOC see?
A: I think the TOC had very high expectations for us because we werwe the older of all the P.E. blocks. He probably expected us to be a much funner and polite class. He put us on a pedestall that we could have easily met but instead we decided to screw around. by the end of the class I think he hated all of us even the students in the class that tried their best and put effort in. In his head he probably thought about this class and as a majority decided we were all bad students.
Q:What do you think "NEUF" sees?
A: I think Neuf thinks we failed him and he expected much more from us as well as the TOC. We acted as if we were in grade seven and had no sense of manners whatsoever. We all let him down and I know he wants to get angry at us the only thing keeping him from getting angry is the hope that him talking to us in the voice that he did would smarten us up and become much more mature. All in all I think we let him down and we should be ashamed but learn from this expierence.
Q: What did you do about it? WHY!!?
A: I just sat back and fooled around too, I didnt realize that if I stepped up and took initiative people would actually listen to me. I underestimated myself and my ability. The reason i did nothing is because I felt as if I would be looked down on in one way or another and even thought I dont have that much resopect given to me I feel like I would loose the respect that has already been given to me.
Great post... I think you have over estimated my anger and UNDERestimated your own power. You have tremendous influence over those around you. Perhaps not the one crew of boys, but even there I think you have some. With the rest of the class, and school at large... what you DO more than what you say resonates with your peers. Many many kids in this school think you are the man... that power comes with responsibility... the question is if you want to take it. :)
